Michigan Sportsmen Against Hunger Food Drive

Thursday, March 18th ONLY!  Sponsored by Tony Gates and WLAV FM

Last year's food drive was so successful, we're repeating it!  This year's promotion is one night ONLY, Thursday, March 18th.  Bring your donation (minimum of 4 pounds or 6 cans or boxes) to the RV parked in front of DeVos Place and get in to the show FREE.  The food will be collected by MSAH volunteers and donated to God's Kitchen and other needy organizations.  Last year's drive, spearheaded by the popular WLAV-FM afternoon show host Tony Gates, resulted in several tons of food for the soup kitchen on South Division in Grand Rapids and other organizations who help the needy.  Beginning at 6am on Thursday, Gates will broadcast all day from an RV on Monroe Street in front of DeVos Place.  Help Tony Gates and MSAH volunteers set another record this year!

Eppinger Limited Edition Lures!

The first 500 lucky attendees to the Ultimate Sport Show on Thursday and Friday will receive a FREE commemorative Dardevle fishing lure courtesy of Eppinger Mfg.  Eppinger is a 4th generation family owned Michigan lure manufacturer with a century long history of producing the world famous Dardevle.  These special lures bear the logo of the show and a special run has been produced just for this event.  Make sure to attend early to secure this valuable collectors item!  Factory experts from Eppinger Manufacturing will be at the show every day to answer questions.

WBBL Kids Catching Competition

Brett Bakita of WBBL will host this competition on Lake Ultimate on Saturday from 12 - 1pm.  The grand prize winner will win a Manistee Fishing & Lodging Getaway, which includes a 1/2 day afternoon fishing charter with Trout Scout Charters aboard Trout Scout III for up to 4 people and one night of lodging at the Manistee National Golf & Resort.  Listen to WBBL for details on how to qualify to compete.

WBBL's Bobbing for Trout Competition

Michael Grey of WBBL will host the Bobbing for Trout Competition on Thursday at 8pm by the Trout Pond.  The grand prize winner of the competition will receive the Ultimate Manistee Charter Fishing Getaway, which includes lodging at the Little River Casino / Hotel for 2 nights, a casino package and a 1/2 day charter fishing trip on Lake Michigan.  Must be at least 21 years old to participate.  Listen to WBBL for more details and how to qualify to compete.
